Official Kick-Off: International Reparation Debate Competition

The Centre for Reparation Research (CRR) at The University of the West Indies (UWI) invites you to attend the Official Kick-Off of the International Reparation Debate Competition on January 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. (EST) / 2:00 p.m. (EC/AST).

This exciting event marks the launch of a global debate platform that brings together young minds to critically examine issues of reparations, historical justice, and global responsibility. Students from across the Caribbean and beyond will engage in thoughtful discussion, advocacy, and competitive debate on matters that continue to shape our world.

Educators, students, and members of the public are encouraged to join this dynamic session in support of critical thinking, public speaking, and social justice awareness among young people.
