The UWI Blood Donor Foundation, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of St. Augustine, invites staff and students to participate in the upcoming UWI Blood Donor Foundation Campus Blood Drive from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, 29^th January 2026 at the LRC Greens.

 

Guidelines for Donating

-          Minimum weight is 110 pounds

-          You can donate if your last tattoo was more than three months ago

-          You may donate if you are diabetic or hypertensive, once it is controlled and you do not take insulin

-          Have a good night’s rest beforehand

-          Drink lots of water before donating and in the days leading up to the drive

-          Eat a healthy meal before donating

-          Bring a valid form of photo ID

-          Avoid heavy lifting or vigorous exercise for the rest of the day after donating
