The Department of Literary, Cultural and Communication Studies (DLCCS), UWI St. Augustine, invites the Campus community to Critical Caribbean Conversations, a series that brings together renowned artists, writers and intellectuals to share their work and engage audiences on pressing contemporary questions and challenges.

On Thursday, March 5, 2026, the series continues with poet, writer and critic Andre Bagoo, author of several books including the critically acclaimed The Dreaming (Peepal Tree Press, 2022). Bagoo will present a reading of published and previously unpublished work as a springboard for exploring the question of contemporary Caribbean prose, followed by an audience Q&A and wider critical discussion.
