The Health Services Unit (HSU) invites the campus community to a Self-Injury Awareness Mental Health Outreach Event aimed at breaking stigma, promoting understanding and connecting students with supportive resources. Join us for an interactive and informative experience designed to foster hope, healing and open conversation around mental health.

What to Expect
- The Butterfly Project: Draw butterflies as symbols of hope, healing and resilience.
- Wear Your Support: Receive an orange awareness ribbon and show solidarity for mental health awareness.
- Coping Strategies: Participate in hands-on activities like the Ice Cube Squeeze and Sour Candy Challenge to explore grounding techniques.
- Connect & Chat: Speak with HSU psychiatrists, CAPS representatives and Peer Counselors about mental health support and available services.
This outreach initiative seeks to destigmatize self-injury, educate the community, and foster compassionate understanding. Whether you are looking for information, support or simply wish to stand in solidarity, all are welcome.
