The countdown to The UWI Games 2026 begins in earnest on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 10.00 a.m., when the St. Augustine Campus officially stages the media launch at the St. Augustine Academy of Sport (UWI SPEC).

As the first public signal that the Games are back, the campus is ready to set the pace for a bold, high-energy season of regional competition, campus pride and student-driven excitement.

With regional attention already building, the University community and wider public are encouraged to tune in live on UWItv Global to experience the official launch virtually and be part of the momentum from the very start.
