Students across The University of the West Indies are invited to participate in student-focused sessions on academic integrity in the age of generative AI on Monday 27 April 2026.

Hosted as part of The UWI’s collaboration with the University of the West of Scotland, these dynamic hybrid sessions will help students explore how to use AI ethically, protect their academic record and succeed with integrity.

Sessions will include:

-          Academic Integrity in the Age of Generative AI

-          Responsible Use of AI in Student Writing

-          Academic Integrity in the Age of Generative AI (repeat session)

Session times

-          9:00–10:30 a.m. (EST/JA) | 10:00–11:30 a.m. (AST/Eastern Caribbean)

-          11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (EST/JA) | 12:00–1:00 p.m. (AST/Eastern Caribbean)

-          1:00 p.m. (EST/JA) | 2:00 p.m. (AST/Eastern Caribbean)
