Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Hilary Beckles will present his official report to the University Council for the 2024/2025 academic year, offering insights into the University’s performance and direction.

This year’s report provides a compelling overview of The UWI’s progress in advancing its strategic agenda, strengthening its resilience, future-proofing the institution and expanding its regional and global impact.

The University Council, the highest governing body of the regional UWI system, plays a critical role in overseeing the University’s business affairs and appointing senior officers. The Council is chaired by Chancellor Dodridge Miller, who leads its deliberations and decision-making.
