The Institute for International Relations (IIR) will host a workshop entitled “Caribbean Perspectives on New Caribbean Issues: From Vulnerability to Resilience?” on Friday 27th to Saturday 28th June, 2008 at the IIR Board Room.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together innovative interdisciplinary Caribbean analyses around a set of emerging issues confronting the region towards the end of the 21st Century. Increasingly, regional and other states, civil societies, media and private sectors recognise a proliferating set of new issues from ecology and technology through services and security to informal and illegal sectors.
