The Faculty of Medical Sciences at The UWI Cave Hill Campus invites the University community and the wider public to the 25th Annual Professor E.R. Walrond Scientific Symposium on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Caribbean/AST.

The symposium honours the legacy of Professor Sir Errol Walrond and his outstanding contributions to surgery, medical education and academic excellence across Barbados and the wider Caribbean.

Jointly organised by the Faculty of Medical Sciences, The UWI Cave Hill Campus, and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the symposium provides a valuable platform for medical doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and researchers to share original research, clinical case studies and new insights in health and medical science.
