The GSTT, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, The UWI St. Augustine Campus, and the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago, invites the campus community and wider public to a panel discussion examining the potential impacts of earthquakes in northern Venezuela on Trinidad and the southern Caribbean.
Titled “Narrowing the Gap – A Look at the Venezuelan Earthquakes on the Southern Caribbean,” the event is designed as a public education and awareness forum, bringing together specialists in geology, seismology, weather and industry to discuss what these seismic events could mean for Trinidad’s southern coast.
