The School for Graduate Studies and Research (SGSR), The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, is pleased to invite you to the 2nd Annual ONE-UWI Sustainable Futures Open Virtual Conference, taking place on September 17 and 18, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. via Zoom, hosted under the theme Approaches for Achieving a Sustainable Future: Leading from the Global South.

This exciting two-day conference will bring together researchers, academics, students, industry leaders, policymakers and development partners to engage in meaningful conversations on the innovative approaches needed to address today's sustainability challenges.

Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, the 2nd Annual ONE-UWI Sustainable Futures Conference will showcase diverse perspectives, cutting-edge research and practical solutions that highlight the critical role of the Global South in shaping a more sustainable and resilient future. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with experts, exchange ideas, and contribute to discussions that can drive positive change across our region and beyond.
