The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) invites teaching staff to a practical workshop on converting an existing face-to-face course into a web/technology-enhanced course.
Participants will work through a simple course-conversion planning template using one of their own courses, while exploring how to decide what should move online, restructure content for asynchronous delivery and maintain student engagement outside the physical classroom.
The session will also examine flipped learning, readiness for adopting a flipped-classroom approach and common pitfalls to avoid when moving course content online for the first time.
