September is Sepsis Awareness Month, and the Faculty of Medical Sciences invites members of the Campus Community to an upcoming webinar exploring Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Surveillance and Monitoring within Jamaica’s Agro-Food Sector.

The session takes place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Dr. Elton Burnett, Health Services/Research and Development Manager, Poultry Division of the Jamaica Broilers Group Ltd., will share perspectives on AMR surveillance and monitoring within Jamaica’s agro-food sector and its implications for the sector.
