The Campus community is invited to a webinar and book launch exploring Indigenous herbal knowledge and its contribution to health and wellness in the Caribbean.

Dr. Damian Cohall will share narratives on the Caribbean’s herbal heritage and the knowledge and technologies surrounding the medicinal uses of plants that have been passed down through generations.

The session will also explore the contribution of traditional herbal knowledge to Western empirical medicine and its continuing relevance to integrative approaches to health and wellness.

The event will feature the launch of Medicinal Plants of Barbados, 2nd Edition.
