The Campus community is invited to attend the Resilience in Transport Webinar, presented by TAMPER Consulting in collaboration with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, The UWI St. Augustine Campus, on Monday, October 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom.

The webinar will bring together experts in climate resilience and disaster risk reduction for discussions on adaptation and access to climate finance, emerging hazard patterns, and lessons one year after Hurricane Melissa.

Speakers include:

-          UnaMay Gordon, Senior Climate Change Expert & Resilience Advisor

-          Ronald Jackson, Head, Disaster Risk Reduction & Recovery, UNDP

-          Neil Parkes, Chevening Scholar 2025/26 and Sergeant of Police, Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF)
