The Communication Studies Programme at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus will host a forum on the Draft Broadcast Code on Thursday 18^th September, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the School of Humanities in Rooms NB1 and 2. It is the first in a series of forums to be presented by the Communication Studies Programme coordinators.

 

The Forum seeks to explore the Draft Broadcast Code issues and encourage debate to develop an informed view of the topic among staff and students at UWI.

 

All are invited.

 

The confirmed panellists are Ms. Joanne Briggs, President, Media Association of Trinidad and Tobago; Mr. Irving Ward, News Editor Express; Ms. Kerry-Anne Roberts, President of the Communication Studies Association on campus; Dr. Christiana Abraham, Lecturer in Communication Studies, and Dr. Godfrey Steele who will act as the Moderator.
