On Sunday 5^th October, 2008 at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain and simultaneously at Palmiste Park, San Fernando, the Volunteers for World Sight Day committee will host its 4^th Annual Walk for Sight. The Walk for Sight is open to everyone and a charitable contribution of $20.20 is requested. Proceeds from the Walk for Sight will be used to benefit a charity for the elderly.

Advance registrants will receive a free commemorative World Sight day T-shirt and refreshments on the day of the event. Free vision screening will be offered onsite.

Registration locations are as follows: Fereira Optical- Frederick St, Long Circular Mall, Trincity Mall; Optometrists Today- Frederick St, West Mall and Gulf City Mall; and Value Optical-Frederick St, Mid Centre Mall, High St San Fernandoand High St Princes Town.

Registration closes on Saturday 27^th September, 2008.
