The Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA) will host The Rainmakers concert ‘Rain on D Greens’ on Sunday 12^th October, 2008 at Gordon Street, St. Augustine at 4:00 p.m. Rain on D Greens will showcase the talent of the UWI Percussion Ensemble and the Golden Hands Steel Orchestra as well as serve as a crucial fund raising venture to further the success of their trip to the 33^rd Annual Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) in Austin Texas.

The semi-outdoor event will showcase performances from the UWI Percussion Ensemble, Individual Pan Soloists, the Golden Hands Quartet, Vocal Soloists from the UWI Chorale Ensemble in addition to renditions from Phase II Pan Grove and the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services Ban.  Guided by musical directors Dr. Jeannine Remy and Franka Hills-Headley, Rain on D Greens will be a journey in percussion and steel.
