The Centre for Gender and Development Studies (CGDS) will continue their lunchtime seminar series on Wednesday 22^nd October, 2008 with a seminar entitled ‘Tales from Icebox Land’ presented by ‘Queen Macoomeh’ Chancellor, Commess University. This seminar will be held at the Seminar Room from 12:00- 1:30 p.m.

This seminar presents a brief overview of what influences led ‘Queen Macoomeh’ to this place in her career. She will also discuss the obstacles and encouragements she has faced as a female, Caribbean CEO while living in 'Icebox Land’. Excerpts from her book “Tales from Icebox Land” would also be read.
