An oral examination for the thesis submitted by Ms. Paloma Mohamed, a candidate for the award of the PhD degree in Sociology, is scheduled to take place on Monday 17th September, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. via video conferencing in the Conference Room, UWIDEC.

Ms. Mohamed’s thesis is entitled “Communicative Power and Social Change in the Caribbean: The Cases of Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. Members of the academic staff and postgraduate students are invited to attend. Please be advised however, that the Conference Room can only accommodate 20 persons.
