The Department of History will host a guest lecture by visiting Dutch Professor Gert Oostindie on Friday 14^th November, 2008 from 6:00 p.m.  Professor Oostindie is the Director of the Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies. The lecture ‘The Dutch in the Caribbean: Unfinished Business’ will be presented in the Faculty of Social Sciences Lounge. Guests are asked to be seated by 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow at the Social Sciences’ Undercroft.
