The Festival Arts Chorale will once again lead the audience in the singing of traditional carols at the annual Festival of Nine Lessons with Carols on Sunday 30^th November, 2008. The performances will be first at 4:00 and another at 7:00 p.m. at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC). The Festival is produced and presented by the Festival Arts Chorale and directed by Jessel Murray.

The Festival Arts Chorale will perform traditional favourites such as Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus, O Holy Night a jazzy Go Tell it on the Mountain and Mary’s Boy Chile.  Members of the UWI Festival Steel Ensemble and the Brass Ensemble will supply accompaniment to the event.

Admission is free, but seating is limited so those interested in attending should obtain invitations from the Department of Creative and Festival Arts on Agostini or Gordon Street in St Augustine.
