The Centre for Gender and Development Studies (CGDS) will host a Lunchtime Seminar titled “National Plan of Action for Children and Children Legislation” presented by Ms. Aileen Bruce and members of the Children’s Authority Implementation Committee. The Seminar would be held on Wednesday 19^th November, 2008 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Social Sciences Lounge.

This seminar will explore the national plan of action for children, the conventions on the rights of the child and give greater insight into the Children Authority Bill and other legislation relating to children.

Students and lecturers and faculty members in Law, Psychology, Social Work and Sociology are specially invited.
