The Department of Physics will host a seminar entitled “Investigation of and complete chemical analysis and profiling of the mud volcanoes and Pitch Lake of Trinidad for the purpose of Astrobiology (Astrobiology ll).” This seminar will be presented by Riad Hosein and supervised by Dr. Shirin Haque. The presentation will take place on Friday 28^th November, 2008 at 2.00 p.m. in Room 413, Department of Physics. 

This seminar is intended to serve as a follow-up to ‘Astrobiology Part 1’. It will examine XRF chemical analysis, preliminary soil analysis and the results of preliminary radiation experiments.
