The Caribbean Studies Association (CSA) will host its 34^th Annual Conference entitled "Centering the Caribbean in Caribbean Studies." This event will take place from Monday 1^st to Friday 5^th June, 2009 in Kingston, Jamaica.

The CSA is seeking scholarly papers from individuals spanning the broadest disciplinary and methodological range, whose work focuses upon the Caribbean and its Diaspora. While the CSA will consider individual papers, they encourage submissions of entire panel proposals. The CSA also encourages and welcomes graduate student submissions. While papers/panels do not have to be on the conference theme, the CSA does welcome submissions that address the theme, whether directly or indirectly.

All submissions must be made via the online submission form at www.caribbean-studies.org. The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2009.
