UWI Consulting Inc will host a seminar entitled “How to Excel in the Consulting Business” on Thursday 29^th January, 2009. This seminar will be held in Lecture Room 2, at the Institute for Critical Thinking, UWI , ST. Augustine Campus. This seminar is geared towards UWI Consulting registered affiliates, faculty members who are interested in working with UWI Consulting and retired faculty members.  

Attendees are invited to register for one session only:

Session 1: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

Session 2: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The seminar is designed to encourage participants to “buy-in” to the value proposition offered by UWI Consulting, to register as an Affiliate and to assist in the continuous process of identifying areas in which UWI Consulting has a competitive Advantage.

UWI Consulting was launched in March 2008 to offer practical solutions and advice to governments in the Caribbean and to promote the attainment of sustainable development. The company received strong support from the highest levels of government in many countries. The seminar will prepare UWI Faculty to work with the company on assignments with the governments in the Caribbean region. The presentation and discussion will cover the relationship between the company and its Registered Affiliates, the scale of fees, contracting arrangements and performance management systems. Dr. Burke and Cynthia Humes will be available for individual coaching sessions following the seminar.
