The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social & Economic Studies (SALISES) will host a public forum on the topic “The State of the Financial Sector in Trinidad & Tobago”. This forum will be held on Friday 6th February 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Seminar Room 1, Institute of International Relations, UWI, St. AugustineCampus.
The panelists at this forum are:
Honourable Mariano Browne, Minister in the Ministry of Finance
Mr Winston Dookeran, Former Governor of the Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago
Mr David Dulal-Whiteway, Managing Director of Republic Bank Ltd and immediate past President of the Bankers’ Association of Trinidad & Tobago.
Dr De Lisle Worrell, Executive Director, Caribbean Centre for Money and Finance (UWI)
The session will be cheered by Professor Patrick Watson, Director SALISES.
Members of the media, the university community and the general public are invited to attend and partake in the discussion that will follow the presentations. Light refreshments will be served.
