The Centre for Gender & Development Studies CGDS will present a lunchtime seminar entitled “90 Days of Violence: The Economy, Gender, Race and Class in Contemporary Trinidad & Tobago”. The seminar will take place on Wednesday 11th March, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the CGDS Seminar Room. The seminar will be presented by the author of the “90 Days of Violence”, Lyndon Baptiste.

“90 Days of Violence” is a literary piece which highlights contemporary social issues and subtly provides highways of action for citizens of our country. The book is chronicles everyday life in Trinidad, through a very diverse group of characters grappling with ethnicity, gender, religion and the other complexities which make up our lived reality in this country.
