A Low Profile Fluidized-Bed Catalytic Cracking Process

The Department of Chemical Engineering will host a Research Seminar entitled “A Low Profile Fluidized-Bed Catalytic Cracking Process for Lower Costs, Increased Processing Flexibility and Improved Yields”.  This Seminar will take place on Tuesday, 17th March, 2009 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in Lecture Theatre 3, 2nd Floor, Block 13, Faculty of Engineering, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. 

 

The Seminar will be delivered by A. Lamont Tyler, Professor Emeritus, Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Utah, and acting CEO of Process Innovators Inc., Salt Lake City, Utah.  Professor Emeritus Tyler’s research has included the study of oil shales, heavy oil and catalytic cracking.
