Conversations with our society dives into Education

The Department of Behavioural Sciences will host another session of the lecture series ‘Conversations with Our Society’, this time in Tobago. This session will be held on Tuesday 9th June, 2009 at the Signal Hill Comprehensive School in Tobago, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. At this event the focus will be on ‘Education and Society in Trinidad and Tobago’.   

At this forum, Dr Bennie Berkeley will present on ‘An analysis of involvement in education; A case for greater parental involvement in their children's education’ and Dr Innette Cambridge will speak on the issue of ‘Teaching Social Policy in the 21st Century – An exploration of the issues’.Dr Nasser Mustapha will give a presentation examining ‘Schooling and Delinquency in Trinidad and Tobago', while Anand Rampersad will delve into ‘Secondary School Students’ Participation in Sports in Trinidad and Tobago’.
