The Department of Creative & Festival Arts (DCFA), Faculty of Humanities and Education, The University of the West Indies (UWI), will be hosting the Visual Arts Student Exhibitions from Sunday 10^th to Sunday 17^th May 2009, at DCFA, Gordon Street, St. Augustine, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The body of work on display by the graduating students of the Certificate in Visual Arts programme 2007 to 2009 was done over a rigorous two-year multi-disciplinary foundation programme and represents some of their practical experiences from the past four semesters. These include a selection of drawings, paintings, product design and outdoor sculptural forms. Students in the level one programme will also present a live performance in Carnival & Contemporary Spectacle, a costume design project which focuses on the traditional masters of Festival Arts and  Contemporary Events Design.
