The Music Literacy Trust will host a movie premiere fundraiser on Wednesday 20^th May, 2009, at Movietowne, Invaders Bay, Port-of-Spain. The main attraction is “The Soloist” which features popular actors Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr.    The Music Literacy Trust is a not-for-profit organization that is empowering young people through music education and literacy. It provides scholarships for  some of our Music students and has done so in the past; and the UWI continues to collaborate with the Music Literacy Trust on some innovative and pioneering projects, such as  Symphony and Steel; Musicanova; Original Notes; Changing Times; Pan in Education; and Rainmakers.
