Arts-in-Action will host a session entitled ‘Wordsmiths: I'm Not Who You Think I Am', on Friday 10^th and Saturday 11^th July 2009, from 7:30pm at the Centre for Language Learning Auditorium, UWI. This performance is expected to raise funds for the group to attend the world-renowned International Youth Poetry Slam Festival entitled ‘Brave New Voices’. The festival will be held from the 13^th to 17^th July, 2009 in Chicago, USA, and will feature approximately 500 young artists, educators, poets, and mentors. Contributions will go towards airfare and stipends for the team.
