The University, in conjunction with The Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, will host a seminar on the Indo-Caribbean Diaspora entitled “Language and Cultural Heritage: Issues and Challenges for the Indian Diaspora in the Caribbean.” The seminar will be held on Sunday 16 August, 2009 from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at Room 2, Learning Resource Centre, UWI. The seminar will feature speakers from Guyana, Grenada, Jamaica, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.
