The Institute of International Relations (IIR) will host a lecture entitled, “Power and Knowledge in International Development” by Prof. Norman Girvan on Thursday 8th November, 2007 in the IIR, Lecture Room 1 at 12:30 p.m. Prof. Girvan is currently a Research Fellow at the IIR, UWI St. Augustine. His recent work Towards a Single Economy and Single Development Vision (2006) has been adopted by the regional Heads of Government as the framework for the implementation of the Caricom Single Market Economy.For further details about Prof. Girvan visit www.normangirvan.info.
