The University of the West Indies, St Augustine, Faculty of Engineering, Engineering Institute, Continuing Engineering Education Centre, in collaboration with Indoor Air Quality Services Co. Ltd., will present a two-day seminar on promoting energy cost savings and increased productivity by creating a healthier workplace environment.

The event, will take place on September 29th and 30th, from 8.30am to 4.30pm at Room 101, First Floor, Block 1, Faculty of Engineering. Cost is TT$2,875 per participant. There is a 5% Early Bird discount for participants/companies paying or submitting a Purchase Order on or before September 21st, 2009 and a 10% discount for companies registering three or more persons. Both discounts will not be applied simultaneously.

In this time of widespread economic uncertainty, one of the main objectives of a business, whether public or private, is to implement a plan to achieve cost savings. Equally important is the fact that the quality of the air we breathe is vital to our overall health, well-being and productivity in the workplace.
