The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social & Economic Studies (SALISES) would like to announce a Forum on the topic “Proposed Constitutional Reform: One Step Forward or Two Steps Backward?” It will take place on Wednesday September 30th, 2009, beginning promptly at 10:00am in the Conference Room, Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies, UWI (St. Augustine) Campus.
Panelists are:

Professor Selwyn Ryan, Political Scientist and Former Director of the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (UWI)
Mr. Douglas Mendes, SC, Attorney at Law and Head of the Faculty of Law (UWI).
Professor Dennis Pantin, Member of the Constitutional Reform Committee, Spokesperson.
The session will be chaired by Prof. Patrick Watson, Director, SALISES
Members of the media, the University Community and the general public are invited to attend and to take part in the discussion that will follow the presentation of the panelists. Light refreshments will be served.
