The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social & Economic Studies (SALISES) is pleased to announce a Forum on the topic “The Uff Commission: to be or not to be?” It takes place on Thursday October 15th, 2009, beginning promptly at 10:00am in the Conference Room, Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies, UWI (St. Augustine) Campus.

 

Panelists are:

Mr. Victor Hart, Chairman, Transparency International.

Dr Bishnu Ragoonath, Senior Lecturer in Political Science, UWI.

Mr. Vernon de Lima, Attorney-at-Law.

Representative of the Government of Trinidad & Tobago (to be confirmed).

 

The session shall be chaired by Patrick Watson, Director of the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies.

 

Members of the media, the University Community and the general public are invited to attend and to take part in the discussion following the presentation of the panelists on this topic of extreme importance and concern. Light refreshments shall be served.
