The Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) will be hosting its 2nd annual Quality Assurance Week,  from November 2nd - 6th, 2009, themed "Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Improving Tertiary Education through Institutional Development."

As a part of the week’s activities, there will be an institutional development workshop presented by ACTT in collaboration with the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, on the theme “Infusing local content in indigenous and foreign programmes.” UWI faculty and staff are invited to this workshop, which will be facilitated by internationally renowned quality assurance educator, Dr. John Randall. It will be held on Wednesday November 4^th, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., and “promises to provide valuable insight into the ways in which programme aims and outcomes can be maintained while adding greater local content and context to both locally developed as well as foreign programmes.”  

The ACTT maintains its commitment to facilitating the professional development of personnel from post-secondary and tertiary institutions and providers.
