Environmental Policy and the Dichotomy of Sustainable Development in the Developing World

The Faculty of Science and Agriculture will host a seminar titled “Environmental Policy and the Dichotomy of Sustainable Development in the Developing World,” on Wednesday 4th November, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. at the Faculty of Science and Agriculture Classroom B.

The key speaker will be Professor Robert Dibie, external lecturer of the Occupational, Environmental, Safety and Health (OESH) graduate program at The U.W.I St. Augustine Campus.

The main objectives of the seminar are:

  • To look at the impact of environmental policy on Occupational Safety and Health        
  • To stimulate discussion and generate awareness in the area of environmental policy
  • Share new knowledge with relevant agencies in the area of the environment, sustainable development and policy in the developing world
