UWI T20 Cricket Tournament 2017!

The UWI T20 Cricket Tournament presented by UNICOM is in full swing!

The action takes place from January 5 to 14, 2017 at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground.  With 12 teams battling for over $35,000 in prizes and the coveted Man-of-the-Match Trophy also the Championship Trophy.

Here’s your need to know info: 

Preliminaries: January 5 to 8, 2017 (completed)

Time: 10am, 2pm and 6pm

Quarterfinals: (completed)

  • January 10: 2pm – Club Crusoe vs Central Sports | 6pm – Cane Farm vs Munroe Road
  • January 11: 2pm – Merry Boys vs DBH United| 6pm – Demerara vs Police

Admission per day: Quarters | Students $15, General Public $25 

Semi-finals: January 13 and 14, 2017

Finals: January 15, 2017

Group A: Queen’s Park Cricket Club, Cane Farm, Central Sports

Group B: Merry Boys, T&T Police, UWI

Group C: Demerara Cricket Club from Guyana, Duncan-Buggy Haynes United, Moosai Sports

Group D: Club Crusoe of Tobago, T&T Defence Force, Munroe Road  

Advanced tickets: Student Season Pass: $75; General Public Season Pass: $150. 

Tickets are available at The UWI Bookstore, SPEC and Kenny's Sports Outlets.

  • Prelims | Students $10, General Public $15
  • Quarters | Students $15, General Public $25
  • Semis | Students $20, General Public $35
  • Finals | Students $30, General Public $45
