CALL FOR PAPERS | “Caribbean Development – The 2030 Agenda in Perspective”

The United Nations (UN), in association with the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) Mona, The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade (MFAFT), Jamaica will host a regional conference under the theme: Caribbean Development – The 2030 Agenda in Perspective.

The conference takes place from June 28 to 30, 2017 at the Jamaica Conference Centre. 

They have issued a Call for Papers on abstracts pertinent to the theme. The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2017.

Abstracts should be emailed to sdgconference2017@gmail.com. Subject: ‘CALL FOR PAPERS’.

Please note:

  • ONLY abstracts pertinent to the theme will be considered.
  • Abstracts must be accompanied by a brief biography.
  • Abstracts should be based on research that has been completed within the last three years. Abstracts should provide information on the main aim of the research, research questions, methodologies, main findings and policy recommendations.
  • Please ensure that papers speak specifically to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • ABSTRACTS SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN 150 WORDS AND SUBMITTED IN MICROSOFT WORD.
