General Notices

The Guild of Students’ Parade of the Bands (Campus Carnival) will take place on Saturday February 22, from noon to 6pm.  

To facilitate these activities, the Campus will be closed from 11am. All evening classes will be relocated to the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC), and parking will be relocated as well, but shuttles will be available every 10 minutes.  

Parking will be at the following locations: 

1.       TGR North car park

2.       TGR South car park

3.       Old Division of Facilities Management (DFM) compound

4.       New DFM compound

5.       Sport and Physical Education Centre (SPEC) 

For those vehicles that MUST have access to the Campus, an application should be made to the Director of Security for a permit for the vehicle(s).   

The application should state:

1) the reason(s) why access is needed

2) the period for which access is needed

3) the registration number of the vehicle

4) the driver’s name and Driver’s Permit number

5) the names of any persons that must enter the Campus in the vehicle. 

Applications for these permits should reach the Director of Security’s office no later than 4pm on February 20, 2014, and all permits must be collected from Campus Security office no later than 4pm on February 21, 2014.
