The UWI presents the launch of the recently established Centre for Reparation Research (CRR) – the first of its kind in the academy. The launch includes feature speaker Samia Nkrumah, daughter of the late President of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah.
The launch takes place October 10 at 5.30pm (Jamaica time)/6.30pm (Eastern Caribbean time) at The UWI Mona Visitors’ Lodge & Conference Centre, Jamaica.

The launch will be followed by a One-Day Symposium on the topic, Post-Independence Cross Roads: Economic Growth, Sustainable Societies and Reparatory Justice. The Opening Plenary will be by Professor Sir Hilary Beckles, Vice-Chancellor, The University of the West Indies.
