Register Now - The UWI/ACRL Research Data Workshop

The UWI St. Augustine Campus and the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) host their Research Data Management Workshop.

The workshop takes place on November 2 and 3 at the Teaching and Learning Complex (TLC). 

Day 1| November 2 | Building Your Research Data Management Toolkit: Integrating RDM into Your Liaison Work

  • This session will assist liaisons to identify their existing skills and mindsets that transfer to research data management services and then create a learning plan for the RDM-specific knowledge needed to serve their subject disci-plines. Tools, hints, and tricks will be shared that facilitate partnerships on campus with dis-ciplinary faculty and with other RDM service providers.
  • Cost of attending Day 1 (full day) is  US$100 or TT$675

 Day 2| November 3 | First Steps:  RDM@The UWI

  • This session will feature presentations by the University Library’s I.T. Professionals, and will focus on the development of integrated technical platforms for managing/showcasing: UWI re-search activities, researcher expertise (UWI-Scholar); publications/scholarly output, the preservation of intellectual and heritage content (UWISpace); and, the archiving of research data sets (Dataverse).
  • Cost of attending Day 2 (half day) - FREE to all Attendees!
