The EU funded “One Health, One Caribbean, One Love” project, implemented by The University of the West Indies (UWI)’ and its project partners, is pleased to launch a free and universally accessible ebook titled  “Caribbean Resilience and Prosperity Through One Health”.

The book demonstrates how a One Health approach can help overcome major challenges to health and prosperity in the Caribbean. Many of these problems, like climate change, food security, ocean health, and emerging diseases arise from the interactions of people, animals and our shared environment. One Health is about working together to improve the health of all species and places. It links people, capacity and expertise in human health, veterinary medicine and environmental health.

This One Caribbean One Health book draws on the ACP-EU funded UWI project, One Health, One Caribbean, One Love, as well as other individuals and institutions in the region. It showcases Caribbean experience and people who are able to develop One Health solutions to some of the most pressing Caribbean problems.
