Work/Life Balance and Ageing Conference

The Research and Development Impact (RDI) Fund and other stakeholders present the Work/Life Balance and Ageing Conference under the theme, Connecting the Dots: Work.Life.Balance.Ageing where they will showcase the project’s findings as well as provide recommendations for our national ageing policy.

The conference takes place April 26 to 27 at the Teaching and Learning Complex (TLC).

About the Conference

This conference is the culmination of the three year RDI project, “Work/Life Balance and ageing in Trinidad: studying the productivity and wellbeing of working men and women”. The Conference will bring together project partners including Trinidad and Tobago Association of Retired Persons (TTARP), United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America, and the Caribbean (UNECLAC), International Labour Organization, Decent Work Team and Office for the Caribbean (ILO/DWT), Women Working for Social Progress (Working Women) with policy makers, public sector officials, corporate sector representatives, caregivers, civil society, regional and international scholars in the field of ageing, and members of the public. The purpose is to inform a wide audience of the project findings, as well as discuss them as recommendations to a way forward for national ageing policy.
