How to Display Radio Astronomy Images with Python Workshop

The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), UWI, St. Augustine has recently become the hub for the Caribbean region for the National and Inter-National Exchange (NINE) programme run by National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO).

UWI alum and former NASA I2 Intern Jason Renwick underwent a 9-week training programme at the NRAO headquarters and will be hosting the workshop, How to Display Radio Astronomy Images with Python.

The workshop takes place September 15 from 9.30am to 4.30pm at the Natural Sciences Building, Room 113.

Please note the following:

  • Lunch is not provided.
  • There is no registration fee attached.
  • No pre-requisite knowledge is required to participate.
  • While laptops are not necessary, participants are free to walk with their own.
  • Limited space is available!!
