CAPS Mental Health Month Activities + more

In honour of Mental Health Month, Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) under the Division of Student Services and Development (DSSD) hosts the following activities:
- All of October | Treat Yourself to a Mindful Cupcake – Veg Out cupcakes come with instructions to enjoy it mindfully and a 60 second meditation challenge. Click here to view a printable flyer.
- October 16 | 5.30 to 6:30pm | Mindfulness Skills Student Workshop at Canada Hall. Click here to view a printable flyer.
- October 25 | 12 to 3pm | Just Breathe – An afternoon of meditation, yoga, and mindfulness at the Institute of Critical Thinking, Lecture Room 2. This event is open to staff and students click here for details.
Reminder: CAPS hosts the following events for staff and students every week throughout the semester:
- Mindful Mondays | 5 to 6pm | Enjoy an hour of simple meditation and relaxation to start the week off right at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC,) East Computer Lab.
- Surviving UWI: Without Losing Your Mind | 2 to 3pm | Join the weekly self-development class every Thursday at the Teaching & Learning Complex (TLC), Tutorial Room 3. Click here for more.
