FFA Commemorates World Food Day with an Edible Tour + More

The Faculty of Food and Agriculture (FFA) joins the international community in commemorating World Food Day with the following events hosted by the Agricultural Society:

October 16| 3 to 5pm | An Edible Food Walk: This event is hosted in collaboration with the National Herbarium of Trinidad & Tobago and will take persons on a tour of The UWI St. Augustine Campus and introduce participants to the edible plant species present.

  • Registered and interested persons are asked to meet at the foyer of the Frank Stockdale building for 2:30pm. Please note that as this event involves a lot of walking, participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes. Refreshments will be provided at the end of the walk.   • Free seedlings will be available for distribution after this event on a first come first served basis. UWI STA Agricultural Society T-shirts will also be on sale for $100.
